MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
FLSA Status: Exempt
Acme Brick Company (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) is an organization of professionals in the manufacturing and building
material distribution industry. We manufacture brick and distribute our own brick as well as brick and associated products
manufactured by others. We operate in 13 states with a philosophy that we are much more than a brick manufacturer and
distributor.
Summary
Supervises and aids with the planning, directing, and coordinating activities of associates engaged in maintaining
and repairing structures of buildings, machinery and ground by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
ï‚· Troubleshoot equipment problems. Instruct and supervise equipment repairs
ï‚· Design, modify and install equipment as needed
ï‚· Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
ï‚· Suggests changes in conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew
ï‚· Recommends and implements new procedures.
ï‚· Confers with other supervisors/management to coordinated activities of department
Skills and Experience Required for Success
ï‚· 2+ years of related experience
ï‚· Electrical, Hydraulics & Pneumatics
ï‚· Leading and training employees

Education
