*Starting Pay $22.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium.
We are seeking a Warehouse Technician to work Monday through Friday with rotating start times. The position also requires availability for occasional overtime and weekend shifts. Job Overview
The Warehouse Technician is accountable for moving finished product, raw materials and packaging within the warehouse, and receiving/shipping materials in and out of the warehouse, as well as handling packaging and recycled dunnage. This role will be responsible for auxiliary activities such as: packaging material into sample boxes, operating the baler and operating the transloading equipment. The technician will also be required to work with SAP to ship and receive materials and for movements within the Warehouse to ensure inventory is accurate.Â
Job Tasks
Load and unload trailers, bulk trucks, railcars, and overseas shipping containers.
Safely operate forklifts, stretch wrappers, and other warehouse equipment.
Move, store, stage, weigh, and mix materials as needed.
Label, repackage, sort, and recycle materials, including customer samples.
Complete shipping/receiving documentation and record material movements in SAP.
Coordinate material movements with third-party logistics providers.
Assist with customer complaint follow-up and root cause investigations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform light maintenance.
Support general warehouse and material-handling activities as assigned.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licensures, and Certifications)
Minimum requirement is High School Diploma or G.E.D. post-secondary education
Must be able to be forklift certified (company certifies on-the-job)
Must be able to work rotating start times, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime and weekend shift capability
Required Skills
Must possess basic computer proficiency skills.
Comfortable working computers and with SAP is a must.
Strong interpersonal abilities in order to manage multifaceted communications with customers, internal partners and third-party logistics carriers is required.
Forklift experience preferred
