The Senior Knowledge Management Consultant will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the knowledge management strategy within the organization. The role focuses on capturing, organizing, and disseminating key operational insights, industry knowledge, and institutional expertise to improve decision-making, innovation, and customer service. This role will play a pivotal role to ensure Hiscox leverages its collective knowledge to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and competitive advantage in the insurance sector. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to build a knowledge-sharing culture that supports continuous learning and collaboration. Key Responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive KM strategy aligned with business goals, leading the design and implementation of KM systems and tools, fostering a knowledge-sharing culture, ensuring documentation of critical procedures and policies, managing a central knowledge repository, collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing knowledge gaps, creating metrics for KM effectiveness, onboarding new employees, collaborating with change management, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations and best practices. Job Specifications require expertise in KM systems, industry knowledge in insurance, leadership skills, process improvement focus, technology savvy, and project management ability. Job Requirements include 10+ years of experience in Knowledge Management preferably in insurance or financial services, proven success in KM strategies, strong interpersonal skills, and experience with regulatory compliance. Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in related fields, with a Master’s degree and certifications in Knowledge Management preferred. The position is hybrid requiring two days in the office weekly.
