We’reĀ seekingĀ a strategic and execution-focusedĀ Salesforce Product OwnerĀ to lead the evolution of our Salesforce-based platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to translate business needs into technical execution. The Product Owner is primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that theĀ teamĀ backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs.Ā This role serves as the primary customer advocate and liaison between internal stakeholders and development teams connecting business and technology strategy while advancing the maturity of the Business Solutions Product Management (BSPM) team.Ā Ā

TheĀ SalesforceĀ Product Owner will report to the Salesforce Product Manager.Ā 

Ā 

Success in this role hinges on your ability to:Ā Ā 

  • Lead requirements gathering through advisor interviews, process analysis, and data insights.Ā 

  • Manage demanding stakeholders with empathy and clarity, balancing competing priorities whileĀ maintainingĀ strategic focus.Ā 

  • Drive roadmap planning and backlog prioritization using KPIs, user feedback, and business impact.Ā 

  • Communicate effectivelyĀ across all levels of the organization, setting clear expectations and providing transparency throughout the product lifecycle.Ā

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Owns product backlog and feature prioritization. Define and prioritize user stories, manage the product backlog, andĀ leadĀ agile ceremoniesĀ as needed. Participate inĀ SAFeĀ Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.Ā 

  • AssistĀ with communicating the vision and roadmap during PI Planning to ensure teams are aligned and ready to execute against them. Communicate product vision, progress, and risks to stakeholders at all levels.Ā Ā 

  • Conduct discovery through interviews, data analysis, and process mapping toĀ identifyĀ opportunities for improvement.Ā AssistĀ in meeting coordination, notes, documentation, follow-ups, summaries, and action items to provide clear ownership and accountability.Ā 

  • CollaborateĀ as neededĀ withĀ development, finance, compliance, operations, andĀ other functionalĀ teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.Ā Ā 

  • Enforce data integrity and platform security standards. Monitor product performance and usage metrics,Ā identifyingĀ opportunities for improvement and optimization. Define CRM product needs andĀ ensureĀ value ofĀ delivery.Ā Ā Ā 

  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are incorporated into the product development process. Ability to balance different stakeholder perspectives by understanding the needs that drive them, remaining customer-centric, considering capacity allocations, evaluating the cost of delay, and collaborating with stakeholders and teams to make implementation decisions that produce the most favorable outcomes.Ā 

  • Prepare mockups and document product standards, bothĀ internalĀ for the team as well as stakeholders; work with the Salesforce Product Manager; Operations teams and the business stakeholders on training materials, release notes, and related communications.Ā

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex problems, challenge assumptions, and make sound,Ā valuedrivenĀ product decisions.Ā 

  • Extremely driven, passion for process and efficiencyĀ 

  • Proven ability to manage demanding stakeholders and balance competing priorities.Ā 

  • Skilled in requirements gathering, process analysis, and translating insights into actionable product features.Ā 

  • Ability to manage work on multiple projects with competing priorities whileĀ maintainingĀ highestĀ level of service standard and meeting target dates.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to balance near-term improvements withĀ long-term strategy.Ā 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and nontechnical audiences.Ā 

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to tailor communication to different audiences, such as management, stakeholders, users, SMEs, developers, and others.Ā 

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesĀ 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, withĀ a track recordĀ of cross-functional collaborationĀ 

  • Knowledge of Salesforce, ADO, and AgileĀ methodologyĀ 

  • Ability to work with clients and partners at a strategic levelĀ 

Ā 

Education, Training and Experience:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but notĀ requiredĀ 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management or productĀ ownershipĀ or related roles.Ā 

  • Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud; experienceĀ with Experience CloudĀ is a plus.Ā 

  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycleĀ 

  • Experience withĀ Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.Ā 

  • Experience supporting Agile teamsĀ working withĀ tools such as Azure DevOps.Ā 

  • Experience supportingĀ enterprise scaleĀ platform or process transformation initiatives.Ā 

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ā 

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and Salesforce business processes preferred.Ā 

  • ExperienceĀ working in Insurance,Ā Finance Services, PEO,Ā HumanĀ ResourcesĀ industry is a plus.Ā 

  • Technical knowledge of Data Mapping, API Integration and Web Technologies a plusĀ 

  • SAFeĀ orĀ Agile relatedĀ certification is a plus.Ā

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
