Job Description

Creates and maintains constituent participant and gift records within the donor database in an accurate, consistent, productive, and service-oriented manner by ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations. Proactively supports the efforts of Foundation Development that ensure donors' and prospects' information is handled appropriately and timely to positively impact their philanthropic efforts of supporting the patient care and services provided by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience

  • 1 year of experience in non-profit fundraising and/or database management
  • 1 year of experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and NetCommunity or CRM system equivalent

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in healthcare fundraising

 

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

 

Certification Summary

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated skill at typing 50 error-free words per minute
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in a high-volume processing environment and meet daily deadlines
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Personal computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Windows-based and/or hospital-related database systems and applications
  • Aptitude for detailed work and strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Reliable, adaptable, and self-driven with clear focus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains timely constituent, participant (event), and gift data using Raiser’s Edge, Luminate Online, Omatic suites and customized plug-ins.
  • Meets daily processing service standards.
  • Supports Foundation Development team by handling all Foundation database requests.
  • Acts as subject matter expert on constituent and gift coding and functionality within the database by being a part of code enhancement discussions, maintaining policies/procedures, and leading team trainings or refreshers.
  • Builds simple queries and exports within Raiser’s Edge to assist with quality control efforts.
  • Prepares simple import files for global coding projects.
