Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are required to be onsite according to the schedule set by your management.
This position requires a valid electrical license or journeyman certification and serves as the primary electrical support specialist while performing general maintenance, construction, and troubleshooting throughout the facility. Under general supervision, the specialist maintains critical electrical systems alongside other building systems including carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, building automation, and security hardware. As an essential function of the Bank, extended hours will be required during emergencies or crisis situations.Â
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Systems (Primary Focus)Â
Performs installation and maintenance of comprehensive electrical systems including transformers, switchboards, controllers, breakers, and circuitsÂ
Conducts preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to facility generation and transmission equipmentÂ
Troubleshoots complex electrical issues and implements repairsÂ
Ensures all electrical work strictly complies with National Electrical Code and safety standardsÂ
Manages electrical aspects of capital projects and facility upgradesÂ
General MaintenanceÂ
Assists with mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC system maintenanceÂ
Updates internal communication systems including telephone, fiber optic, and network infrastructureÂ
Performs routine inspections, testing, and monitoring of critical equipmentÂ
Maintains computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) recordsÂ
Conducts basic repairs such as replacing fixtures, ceiling tiles, and hardwareÂ
Safety & ComplianceÂ
Adheres to OSHA, fire protection codes, building codes, and life safety requirementsÂ
Performs scheduled inspections of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, emergency stations)Â
Operates specialized equipment including forklifts, bucket lifts, and woodworking tools safelyÂ
Â
 Support ServicesÂ
Assists with room setups, inclement weather response, and special eventsÂ
Collaborates with other trades and departments as requiredÂ
Supports automated material handling equipment maintenanceÂ
QualificationsÂ
Education: High School Diploma or GEDÂ
Experience: Less than two years, with electrical experience requiredÂ
Required Technical Skills:Â
Must possess a valid electrical license or journeyman certification Â
Experience with commercial electrical systems required Â
Knowledge of National Electrical Code and safety standardsÂ
Strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting abilitiesÂ
Basic mechanical aptitudeÂ
Basic computer skillsÂ
Knowledge of building equipment and OSHA safety regulationsÂ
Preferred Certifications:Â
Training or certification in electrical systemsÂ
Additional certifications in HVAC, plumbing or mechanical fieldsÂ
