The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to create unique dishes to delight our guests. Responsibilities: ● Directs food preparation and collaborates with the executive chef ● Assists with cafe and banquets ● Produces high-quality plates and pastries, including both design and taste ● Prepares pastry and dinner items ● Oversees and supervises kitchen staff ● Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies ● Ensures that food is top quality and that the kitchen is in good condition ● Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards ● Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance ● Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen Qualifications● 3+ years of Food Service Experience ● Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Food Safety Regulations ● Pastry experience is a plus ● Must be eligible to work in the USA Physical Requirements: ● Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
