About the Role:

The Server/Host plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient dining experience for guests at our establishment. This position is responsible for greeting customers promptly, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring smooth communication between the front-of-house and kitchen staff. The Server/Host will facilitate timely service by taking orders accurately, delivering food and beverages, and addressing any guest needs or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Success in this role directly contributes to customer satisfaction, repeat business, and the overall positive reputation of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic cash handling.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, managing waitlists and seating assignments efficiently.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer any questions regarding menu items or restaurant policies.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Deliver orders promptly and ensure guests have everything they need throughout their dining experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area.
• Coordinate with team members to manage flow and timing of service during peak hours.
• Process payments and handle cash or electronic transactions accurately when required.
