ACTIVITY THERAPIST

To serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and provide therapeutic expressive therapy services to patients. Develop and implement expressive therapy treatment plans that are age appropriate, and consistent with overall treatment goals.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. (Recreational, Art, Drama, Music, Dance/Movement Therapy)

2. Experience:

3. License/Certification: CRTS, Art/Dance/Music Therapy Certification required

4. Skills:

5. Physical Requirements: Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive time sitting, writing, and talking on telephone. Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out of control patients.

6. Other: Performs others duties as may be assigned by Director of Recreational/Activity Therapy.
