Job Description
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 End-to-end implementation of systematic multi-asset, commodity, and derivative income portfolios in accordance with investment guidelines.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Daily monitoring of positions against model targets; rebalancing portfolios due to cashflows and model weight changes; and rolling derivatives positions
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Actively monitor macro, equity volatility, and funding markets and incorporate insights into optimizing funded and unfunded instruments used to gain market exposure. Contribute to internal research projects surrounding these efforts
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Engage regularly with internal business partners across other investment teams, client service, compliance, legal, risk, trading, and operations for new and existing mandates. Develop and maintain relationships with sell-side counterparties.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Contribute to continuous improvement of the team鈥檚 technology stack and order management system. Identify operational frictions, assist in automating workflows, and designing new tools.
Work Experience / Knowledge:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 3+ years of experience in a quantitative portfolio implementation role
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with macro strategies, derivatives, and options is strongly preferred
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Programming experience required
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment, while working on multiple deliverables concurrently and adapting as necessary
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Self-motivated; working both independently and collaboratively, both as a leader and a team member
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong communication skills, as this role will be occasionally client facing, with responsibility for representing the team鈥檚 research capabilities at in-person client meetings
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong decision-making skills including the ability to research and analyze topics to determine the correct course of action
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Formal Education:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance preferred; Graduate degrees are a plus
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 CFA or CAIA preferred
聽Working Conditions:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, and temperatures聽
