We are currently hiring an Associate Implementation Manager to manage the onboarding process for new direct clients and clients assigned to key Broker and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) partners. As a key individual contributor on the Operations team, you will own low-to-medium complexity implementation projects end-to-end, ensuring clients are set up efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with our standardized processes.
WE ARE: A FinTech company with the heart of a start-up and the reach of an industry leader. At Purchasing Power, we believe in building solutions that genuinely help people — and that starts with building a team that takes ownership, communicates with clarity, and shows up for each other and our clients every day.
YOU ARE: A detail-oriented, client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping projects on track. You communicate clearly, follow through consistently, and bring a calm, organized presence to everything you manage — from onboarding new clients to navigating complex cross-functional coordination.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
Manage the end-to-end onboarding timeline for assigned new clients, ensuring a consistent and efficient transition to ongoing account administration.
Communicate implementation milestones, requirements, deadlines, timeline adjustments, and project updates to clients, brokers, TPAs, and internal partners.
Coordinate the operational setup of new clients using standardized implementation processes, approved file layouts, and established secure data transfer protocols.
Partner with internal teams, including fulfillment teams and Account Executives, to complete low-complexity platform changes for in-force clients.
Gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements related to client onboarding, file layouts, data transfer methods, and ongoing administration needs.
Maintain organized implementation documentation and ensure accurate client configurations throughout the onboarding process.
Monitor assigned projects against confirmed deadlines and proactively escalate risks, dependencies, or timeline concerns.
Identify and communicate process barriers, including bottlenecks, technology constraints, resource constraints, or administrative pain points that may affect client onboarding or program administration.
Recommend internal process improvements to reduce client administrative burden and support smoother implementation outcomes.
Demonstrate strong follow-through and ownership of assigned onboarding and client change projects from initiation through completion.
YOU'LL BRING:
Experience supporting client onboarding, implementation, or account setup processes, preferably in a B2B, broker, TPA, benefits, payroll, or client services environment.
Strong project coordination skills, with experience managing timelines, deliverables, follow-ups, and low- to medium-complexity client projects.
Familiarity with standardized processes, file formats, secure data transfers, or operational workflows, especially where accuracy and consistency are critical.
Proven ability to communicate clearly with clients, external partners, and internal cross-functional teams to keep work moving and resolve questions or gaps.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client implementations or administrative changes at once.
Bachelor's degree required; minimum of 3 years of experience in employee voluntary benefits, client onboarding, client servicing, or a related operational support function.
Experience establishing B2B electronic and manual data file transfers, including familiarity with various file types and transfer methods.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
AI-enabled tools are already part of how work gets done across our organization, and their use will continue to expand over time. We value people who are curious, adaptable, and open to learning as roles and workflows evolve.
WE OFFER:
Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and company-paid life insurance
401(k) retirement plan
