BIM Technician

EM Structural is looking for a BIM Technician who wants to be part of a growing team, works well in a group, and is self motivated.  As a BIM Technician you would be involved in all technical aspects of structural drafting/modeling and the ability to coordinate with engineers. Responsibilities:

• Have a strong competency using Revit Structure and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience working on multi-family residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Have the ability to coordinate with our engineers and others within the firm.
• Be a part of a team of BIM technicians across all offices of the firm and coordinate drafting/modeling techniques across offices.
• Create BIM Execution Plans.

Qualifications:

• Architecture- or Engineering degree, or Associate’s degree in related field is a plus
• Relevant experience with building materials including: structural steel, mild concrete, post-tensioned concrete, wood, and masonry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.
