Stantec’s Site / Civil Engineering Land Development group is growing throughout Georgia. We are looking for “seller/doers” responsible for leading the pursuit and delivery of excellent work to our clients throughout the state of Georgia. 

Stantec’s multi-disciplinary office in Atlanta, GA has an opportunity for a Business Lead to manage our Civil Engineering operations in the Georgia market. We are seeking a candidate with experience in people-leadership, project management, and business development. Market sectors in public and private areas development including streetscapes, parks, and residential, commercial, and industrial development. 

This position offers a hybrid work schedule which consists of a minimum of three days in the office each week, and up to two days per week working remotely. 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage significant projects, coordinating with clients and government agencies, and Stantec’s local and regional teams.
  • Lead and implement business development strategies for new clients and strategic pursuits.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships and play a key role in client management and satisfaction.
  • Mentor and empower junior staff and other team members.
  • Plan and manage projects and tasks to complete them on time and within budget.
  • Oversee team and project metrics to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining profitability.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
