JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

  • Directs the strategic planning and development of the Emory Autism Center. Develops short- and long-term goals and objectives.
  • Plans and coordinates major administrative and clinical research activities including grants and contracts, budget planning, financial analysis, and data processing operations for the Emory Autism Center.
  • Develops, monitors, and manages division operating, and clinical budgets.
  • financial performance.
  • Oversees forecasting and resource allocation.
  • Ensures fiscal stewardship across university and healthcare operations.
  • Serves as a primary liaison between departmental leadership and external stakeholders to coordinate clinical and non-clinical operations, resolve issues, and ensures compliance with institutional requirements, including accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Serves as the departmental liaison to Human Resources for the Emory Autism Center, coordinating and facilitating a wide range of human resources activities for faculty, staff, trainees, and clinical personnel.
  • Partners with Human Resources to support recruitment, employee reclassification requests, compensation reviews, leave administration, leave tracking and corrections, performance evaluations, performance improvement plans, employee separations, reductions in force, and other personnel-related processes.
  • Partners with division leadership to establish strategic goals, improve operational effectiveness, implement process improvements, and support growth initiatives.
  • Serves as a liaison among faculty, staff, university administration, Healthcare leadership, and external stakeholders; prepares reports and presentations; represents the division on committees and workgroups within Emory and within the donor community.
  • May represent the program in various national and international settings.
  • Establishes and administers policies and procedures.
  • May supervise staff. Performs other related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to program work and seven years of related experience which includes two years at a management level, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • BCBA required.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
