Monday Night Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery based out of Atlanta, with a distribution footprint across Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina. We currently operate two taprooms in Atlanta, GA, a taproom in Birmingham, AL, a taproom in Nashville, TN, a taproom in Charlotte, NC, and a taproom in Knoxville, TN. In our fourteenth year of operation, we are proud to produce a vast portfolio— spanning from small batch New England IPAs to barrel-aged stouts, approachable kettle sours to mixed culture ambers, and hop-forward West Coast IPAs.

Monday Night Brewing is seeking a full-time Commercial Marketing Manager to join and lead our growing team at Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA). The primary role of this position will be to turn Brand, Portfolio and Commercial Strategy into programs, experiences and tools that drive growth across beer, spirits, RTDs and future beverage innovation.

Who You Are:

  • A builder – You are equally comfortable developing an idea, building the presentation and tools, briefing creative partners and getting into the market to see how it comes to life.
  • You genuinely love beverages, hospitality, food, culture and consumer brands.
  • You’re a commercial thinker with a creative eye and can turn a business objective into an idea people actually want to experience.
  • You’re comfortable creating polished presentations and quick-turn creative using
  • PowerPoint/Google Slides and Canva.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop is a plus; experience creating or adapting illustrative/vector files is also a plus.
  • You understand social media and emerging digital culture; experience managing brand social channels or creating social content is a plus.
  • You have experience with experiential marketing, events, activations or sponsorships and enjoy bringing ideas to life in the real world.
  • You’re highly organized, resourceful and comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
  • You like being in the marketplace—working with sales teams, visiting accounts, attending events and staying connected to consumers and culture.

Reports to:

  • Chief Brand and Commercial Strategy Officer

High-Level Goals:

  • Help build Monday Night Ventures' Commercial Marketing capability by creating programs customers want to buy into, and experiences consumers want to engage with and tools our teams want to use.
  • Help transform Brand and Portfolio Strategy into marketplace growth, accelerating premiumization, strengthening customer partnerships and helping our brands win across channels and markets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Translate Brand and Portfolio Strategy into customer-focused commercial programs across On-Premise, Off-Premise, Chains and National Accounts.
  • Develop compelling customer presentations, selling stories, program toolkits and sales enablement materials.
  • Lead commercialization planning for new products and portfolio initiatives, from customer proposition through launch.
  • Develop experiential events, consumer activations and brand experiences from concept through execution, including creative development, vendors, budgets and measurement.
  • Partner with Commercial Activation to bring programs to life within priority accounts, hospitality relationships and markets.
  • Stay close to consumer, beverage, hospitality, retail and cultural trends, translating emerging behaviors into relevant ideas and commercial opportunities.
  • Bring a strong understanding of social media and digital culture to programming, identifying opportunities for experiences and commercial initiatives to generate relevant content and conversation.
  • Support annual Commercial Planning, programming calendars and measurement of program performance and ROI.
  • Manage agency and creative partners and multiple projects, timelines and budgets simultaneously.
  • Work cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, Commercial Activation, Hospitality, Finance and Operations to move ideas from strategy into market.

Compensation:

  • $68k - $75k annual salary, based on experience
  • Bonus potential

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial, Trade, Shopper, Customer, Experiential or Brand Marketing.
  • Beverage alcohol, CPG, hospitality, food & beverage or another consumer-driven
  • industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience translating brand strategy and consumer insights into customer-facing
  • programs.
  • Strong project management, presentation, storytelling and communication skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, agencies, vendors and budgets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with broad ownership.
  • Ability to demonstrate Monday Night values.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 40 pounds

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment. This position is extremely physical and demanding in nature and involves working with potentially dangerous equipment, machinery, exposure to high noise levels, and handling of hazardous materials.

• Must be able to use repetitive motions and work in hot and cold environments
