About PayMitto
PayMitto, LLC is a B2B2C cross-border payments company headquartered in Atlanta, GA. We are on a mission to make money movement faster, safer, and more accessible — whether across town or around the world. We build the full experience for banks and credit unions: from the mobile interfaces that guide account holders through transfers, to the platform infrastructure powering it all behind the scenes. That means multi-corridor payment routing, partner integrations across financial networks, and real-time compliance and fraud detection — with the reliability requirements that come with moving people's money.

We're a 65-person team based in Atlanta, scaling fast as more financial institutions sign on. The work moves quickly, the impact is tangible, and what you build will be in the hands of real users at real institutions. We're looking for bold thinkers to help us get there.

About the Role
We're hiring a cross-trained Operations Analyst to join our Fraud, Compliance, and Client Support team. This isn't a single-lane specialist role. You'll be trained across three front-line functions and deployed wherever the queue needs you most on a given day, including:

  • Fraud Analysis: Detect and investigate alerts, including AFT/ATO patterns and loss prevention
  • Compliance Analysis: Screen and decision sanctions list (SLS) and BSA/AML transaction monitoring (TM) alerts, support UARs, and handle RFIs
  • Client & Partner Support: Resolve Tier 1 client and partner tickets in Zendesk, including cancellations, disputes, and escalations
This is a HYBRID role based in Atlanta, GA. You will work in our office located at the Battery on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What You'll Do

  • Triage and investigate fraud alerts (AFT, ATO, and related loss prevention patterns), taking action to limit exposure
  • Decision sanctions screening (SLS) and BSA/AML transaction monitoring (TM) alerts within our fraud and compliance platform
  • Document investigations, including fraud cases, SLS hits, and TM alerts, keeping records audit ready for UAR or law enforcement reporting
  • Handle Tier 1 client and partner support across email and Zendesk
  • Support Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordinate across fraud, compliance, and operations teams
  • Identify gaps and tuning opportunities in fraud, screening, and monitoring tools
  • Help build and maintain AI agents that support fraud, compliance, and support workflows
  • Flex across fraud, compliance, and support work as volumes shift

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in financial crimes, fraud, BSA/AML, sanctions, or payments/support operations
  • Working knowledge of fraud typologies (AFT, ATO), OFAC sanctions screening, and BSA/AML requirements
  • Comfort using AI tools like Claude and understanding how AI agents can support operational workflows
  • Strong decision making, pattern recognition, and documentation skills
  • Solid customer service instincts and clear communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern web based tools (Zendesk experience a plus)

Bonus Points For

  • Cross-border or remittance industry experience
  • Hands on experience with Sardine, Alacer/Velocity, or similar fraud/AML case management platforms
  • Experience building or configuring AI agents or automations
  • Visa/Mastercard regulation knowledge, or prepaid, debit, or credit card experience
  • Experience supporting UAR preparation
