About the Role:

The Construction Inspector I (Water) plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of water-related construction projects. The inspector will collaborate closely with contractors, engineers, and project managers to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience of water related construction project inspections.
  • Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials related to water infrastructure.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various construction sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in construction technology, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with water utility construction inspection or related infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal water construction regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in using inspection and reporting software tools.
  • OSHA safety certification or equivalent training.

Responsibilities:
