Job Description:Ā 

The Corporate Accounts Payable Coordinator reports to the Accounting Supervisor. This position is primarily responsible for all aspects of the daily and monthly accounts payable processes including entering invoices and maintaining vendor files, while acting in accordance with company mission, vision, and values.Ā

Position Type:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Ā 

Essential Job Functions:Ā Ā 

• Review, code and process high-volume vendor invoices for multiple entitiesĀ 

• Review/verify needed approvals and documentation of invoices and PO’sĀ 

• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accounts are currentĀ 

• Prepare semi-monthly check run reports for management reviewĀ 

• Respond to internal & external inquiries in an effective, efficient and professional mannerĀ 

• Maintain vendor files, including W9’sĀ 

• Review AP Aging reportsĀ 

• Assist with 1099 processing and filingsĀ 

• Evaluate accounts payable processes and suggest potential improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency and enhance customer serviceĀ 

• Assist Accounting team with semi and annual audit requestsĀ 

• Support ad-hoc financial reporting and data entry projectsĀ 

• Perform other job-related and administrative duties as requiredĀ

Competencies and Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of experience and educationĀ 

• 2–4 years of high-volume accounts payable experience with basic GL knowledge.Ā 

• Strong data entry accuracy and basic knowledge of general ledger accounting.Ā 

• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and major accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).Ā 

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentĀ 

• General Accounting KnowledgeĀ 

• High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and good communication habits. Excellent written and verbal communication skillsĀ 

• Accounting software proficiencyĀ 



Work Environment:Ā 


This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. In addition, this job will require an organized office space, including daily filing and destroying of documents.Ā
