Job Purpose:

Our Communications Manager will lead strategic communications for large-scale enterprise change initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, organizational transformations, ERP implementations, and other major business priorities. This role partners closely with Corporate Communications leadership, business sponsors, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement a scalable, consultative communications model — shifting from reactive support to a disciplined advisory and toolkit-based approach. This role also oversees External Communications, including proactive and reactive public relations, media engagement, and reputation management. The Communications Manager ensures alignment between internal change narratives and external positioning, while supporting customer and supplier communications and equipping customer-facing teams with clear, consistent messaging.

Job Responsibilities:

ā— Lead strategic communications planning and execution for enterprise change initiatives, including M&A integration, restructuring, ERP implementation, and customer-facing transformations.
ā— Develop integrated internal and external messaging frameworks that align change narratives with corporate positioning and reputation strategy.
ā— Design and implement a scalable Change Communications service model, including toolkits, templates, and defined engagement processes.
ā— Provide senior-level strategic advisory support to business sponsors and program leaders; challenge assumptions and influence messaging decisions where appropriate.
ā— Establish governance and quality standards for high-visibility communications.
ā— Serve as primary point of contact for public relations, including media inquiries, issue management, and proactive story development in partnership with external agencies.
ā— Anticipate and mitigate reputational risk across both internal and external audiences during periods of change.
ā— Monitor and analyze media coverage and stakeholder sentiment to inform communication strategy.
ā— Partner cross-functionally with commercial functions to develop and deploy customer and supplier communications that support enterprise initiatives and equip teams with consistent messaging.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

ā— Strong executive presence and ability to advise senior leaders with confidence and credibility

ā— Experience managing media relations and/or working closely with PR agencies.

ā— Exceptional ability to distill complex business information into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.

ā— Proven ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

ā— Experience supporting publicly traded companies or IPO readiness a plus.

Work Experience:

ā— 5-10 years of related job experience.ā— Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.

Education:

ā— Bachelor's Degree - Communications Studies/Speech Communication and Rhetoric
