Job Description:
The Director of Finance & Operations leads nonprofit financial strategy, federal grant compliance, forecasting, and operational infrastructure to support mission-driven growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive financial strategy, multi-year planning, and organizational forecasting.
Lead federal grants compliance, reporting, and stewardship.
Build and strengthen financial systems, controls, and scalable processes.
Oversee operations, HR administration, vendor management, and IT infrastructure.
Partner with CEO and Board to guide financial and strategic priorities.
Enhance financial transparency and reporting for leadership.

Qualifications:

5+ years of nonprofit finance experience or experience with federal grant-funded organizations.
Hands-on federal grants administration and compliance experience.
Background in nonprofit, healthcare, research, or academic environments preferred.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with strong execution capability.
CPA or equivalent credential preferred.
Experience with QuickBooks Online and nonprofit financial systems preferred.
