Position Description
Title:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ecolite Operator

Immediate Supervisor:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Plant Supervisory Staff
Status:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Hourly Non-Exempt
Position Purpose:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Operates the Ecolite Line
Â
Principle Accountabilities
- Responsible for the safe, controlled start-up and operation of the Ecolite line equipment including starting the machine, engaging the feed, observing the operation, and managing changeover process.
- Inspects and measures completed pieces to verify conformity to customer production standards.
- Monitors and adjusts controls to ensure products comply with production standards.
- Supervises and instructs line assistant in all production-based tasks.
- Maintains equipment through completion of assigned preventative maintenance tasks and minor repair techniques as required.
- Records quality and production metrics via written communication methods and within time deadlines as necessary.
- Performs all work in a safety-first mentality and with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills.
- Related tasks as requested by supervisor
Essential Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- 2+ Years in a Manufacturing Environment experience required
- Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required
- Ability to work in space limited work area on continuous basis.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
