General Manager / Large Loss Project Manager – Restoration

A growing regional restoration organization is seeking a General Manager-level leader who will operate in a hybrid capacity—leading market operations while directly managing large-loss projects in the field.
This is a hands-on leadership role designed for an experienced operator capable of driving both strategic oversight and execution. The ideal candidate thrives in building structure, improving processes, and leading from the front on complex losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional operations while actively managing large commercial losses
- Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value projects
- Establish and enforce operational processes, KPIs, and performance standards
- Drive efficiency improvements across mitigation and reconstruction workflows
- Oversee estimating, budgeting, and project profitability
- Build and mentor project management and field teams
- Support business development and client relationship management
- Assist in scaling operations across multiple markets
Required Experience
- Strong background in commercial mitigation and reconstruction
- Experience managing large-loss projects ($250K–multi-million)
- Demonstrated leadership in restoration operations or branch management
- High proficiency in estimating and financial oversight
- Ability to balance field execution with strategic leadership responsibilities
Preferred Profile
- Experience building or scaling offices
- Process-driven leader with a focus on accountability and performance metrics
- Comfortable operating in both startup-style and structured environments
