Key Responsibilities

  • Support geotechnical projects from planning through completion
  • Assist with project scope development, scheduling, and budget tracking
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and develop practical engineering recommendations
  • Prepare reports, calculations, and project documentation
  • Coordinate field investigations, observations, and testing activities
  • Communicate with clients, project teams, and internal staff
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control efforts
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development as appropriate


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Geotechnical focus preferred
  • Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
  • PE license or ability to obtain preferred
  • 4–8 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience preferred
  • Experience with geotechnical investigations, analysis, and reporting
  • DOT project experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software
