This transformation will unleash the next generation of UWGA, putting UWGA on a growth pathway that will significantly amplify its impact by increasing its investment in solutions that can make a lasting difference for Child Well-Being in Greater Atlanta.  DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW   The Community Engagement Department advances United Way of Greater Atlanta's mission by connecting community insight, data, partnerships, and investments to improve child well-being and economic mobility across Greater Atlanta. Through strategic grantmaking, stakeholder engagement, data-informed decision making, and cross-sector collaboration, the department helps align resources and partners around lasting solutions that strengthen children, families, and communities.  Job Summary  The Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation is responsible for ensuring high-quality grantee and partner data, analyzing program and population-level information, supporting reporting and dashboards, and translating insights into learning and action. Reporting to the Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, this role oversees data quality assurance, reporting processes, dashboard development, and analysis that support organizational learning and decision-making.   QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS  Bachelor’s degree in a social science, sociology, public health, public administration, or a related field preferred. Experience in social services, human services, or non-profits may be substituted for a specific degree.  Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.  Experience in monitoring and evaluation.  Proficiency in grant/report management software (FLUXX is a plus).  Ability to interact with and manipulate data from multiple sources.  Experience analyzing program and population level data for program sensemaking and organizational learning.  Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel specifically.  Proficiency in data visualization software. (Power BI is a plus).  Proficiency in data structure and harmonization processes and software (Power Query Editor is a plus).  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  Strong ability to work independently.  Well organized and able to provide structure and process to areas of responsibility.  Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.   Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.   Strong written and verbal communication skills.    Responsibilities  Liaise, under the guidance and supervision of the Director, with internal and external partners to ensure timely and relevant reporting and data collection.  Review grant applications, reports, and organizational data for completeness and quality.  Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.  Support grant reporting and internal learning loops for continuous improvement.  Troubleshoot, resolve, and make recommendations to improve data collection, structure, and analysis, then own those changes and improvements.   Conduct descriptive and basic inferential statistics to provide clear, relevant, and visually appealing materials that can be easily and quickly grasped by internal and external stakeholders.  Synthesize qualitative data and anecdotes to enhance “sensemaking” as part of continuous improvement processes and learning journeys.  Identify and prepare data content for seminars, forums and public communications and presentations.     IDEAL CANDIDATE  A successful candidate in this role will be:  Able to work in the details of a project so that the big picture is achieved.  Goal oriented.  A good listener with the ability to identify creative solutions.  Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.
