American Health Imaging is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist. You will be responsible for helping all Technologists in the center in areas that allow the Technologist to maintain an on-time schedule and run the diagnostic imaging scanning area in an orderly fashion. When not functioning as a Technologist Assistant you will support a credentialed Virtual Steering MRI Technologist with virtual MRI scanning by serving as the hands-on support at the imaging site. This position is responsible for preparing patients, ensuring compliance with MRI safety protocols (Zones 3 & 4), managing equipment setup, and monitoring scans conducted by the Virtual Steering MRI technologists.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm located in Sandy Springs, GA

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintaining excellent patient care
Dressing patients and obtaining medical history
Starting IVs
Assisting MRI/CT with the patient flow
Helping sterilizes equipment and rooms

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Radiology Technology student or 12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality nice to have
Previous experience starting IV's desired
Knowledge of medical terminology desired
