Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM & Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support our clinical operations and provide high-quality care throughout the patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of direct patient interaction, clinical responsibilities, and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Procedure Support
  • Assist providers with patient care activities and office-based procedures 
  • Prepare medications, injections, and supplies according to established guidelines 
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain medical instruments and equipment 
  • Follow clinical protocols, physician instructions, and safety standards 
Patient Care Responsibilities
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information 
  • Prepare patients for visits and assist with maintaining efficient patient flow 
  • Communicate patient information accurately between providers and care team members 
  • Support a positive patient experience from check-in through follow-up 
Office & Administrative Support
  • Assist with patient scheduling, phone communication, and general office tasks 
  • Complete insurance-related tasks, including pre-authorizations, as needed 
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure documentation is completed properly 
  • Provide support with provider schedules and daily clinic operations

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience 
  • At least 1 year of experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) 
  • Athena EMR experience is a plus 
  • Pain management or specialty practice experience preferred, but not required
