About the role:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in both didactic (theory) and clinical/lab settings.
- Teaching essential skills: medical terminology, vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, EMR documentation, and more.
- Guide students through clinical externships, working closely with site supervisors and placement coordinators.
- Mentor students with academic advising, tutoring, and professional development support.
- Participate in curriculum review and program improvement to keep our standards aligned with current medical trends.
- Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment that emphasizes professionalism, ethics, and patient-centered care.
What you bring:
- Medical Assistant with many years of experience and a desire to teach.
- At least 3 years of recent clinical experience (ambulatory or outpatient setting preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of medical assisting skills, or willingness to be trained
- A passion for teaching, coaching, and student development
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Comfort teaching in person
