  • Full Time - Starting July 2026

  • 1.0 FTE, M-F

About the Role
Hello, Paraprofessionals! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Paraprofessional for a school setting in Metro Atlanta area. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by supporting instruction, reinforcing IEP goals, and helping create a safe, structured environment that promotes academic progress and positive student development.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide instructional support to students with disabilities in special education and general education settings under the direction of the teacher.

  • Assist in maintaining a structured, safe, and positive classroom environment through effective supervision and classroom management.

  • Support data collection, documentation, and routine record-keeping as directed by instructional staff.

  • Prepare instructional materials, visual aids, and classroom resources to support lesson implementation.

  • Perform clerical and organizational tasks, including maintaining classroom supplies and inventory.

  • Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, reliability, and appropriate workplace appearance.

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff while maintaining a high level of customer service.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of student and school information in accordance with policies and regulations.

  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and required professional development.

  • Adhere to all district, state, and federal guidelines while supporting a safe and compliant learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s Degree or two years (60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours) of college OR HS diploma/GED with successful completion of the Georgia Paraprofessional Certification Test.

  • Valid Paraprofessional Certificate

  • School-based experience preferred, not required

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
