Responsibilities
As part of the Health care team, leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff so as to provide pharmaceutical care. Acts as a professional resource. Serves all patients, including, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adults and geriatrics.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promotes and facilitates interdepartmental and intradepartmental cooperation and consensus building. Performs the duties and responsibilities of the Staff Participates in interviewing candidates for pharmacy personnel and makes Develops policies and procedures and administers Quality Improvement programs in conjunction with the Staff Development/Quality Improvement Provides and monitors training and orientation of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists and pharmacy Assigns and monitors work of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists. Participates as a team member in the performance evaluation Performs all other duties and responsibilities. Serves as a resource to assist staff in accomplishing departmental mission and Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to Manager. Qualifications
REQUIRED
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy. Active Georgia Pharmacist license. Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience. PREFERRED
ASHP- Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 and 2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience in the specialty area. Relevant Pharmacy Specialty Board certification is preferred. Previous management experience. Work Hours:
