Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to assist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
The position requires a current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia and one year of experience.
The Pharmacy Tech will work three 12-hour shifts per week from 8:30 AM to 9 PM and 7:30 AM to 8 PM.
Preferred qualifications include certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Responsibilities

Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

The Pharmacy Tech will be working 3x12h shifts per week. 830a-9p and 730a-8p

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.

One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

PREFERRED:

Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Work Hours:

8:30am-9pm; 7:30am-8pm
