About the Role:

The PHO - Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of a hotel's financial records during overnight hours. This position is responsible for auditing daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing detailed reports that support management decision-making. The Night Auditor also provides exceptional guest service during the night shift, handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. By maintaining a secure and organized front desk environment, the Night Auditor helps uphold the hotel's reputation for quality and reliability. Ultimately, this role ensures seamless operational continuity between day and night shifts, contributing to overall guest satisfaction and financial accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or accounting is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
  • Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during overnight hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in hospitality management, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience with specific hotel management software such as Opera or Maestro.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
