Living within the Chick-fil-A Supply Chain Data Services function, the Data Enablement Team Leader designs the data products and processes that make SCDS data clear, governed, and easy to use, so partners and teams across the business can operate effectively. Success in this role balances deep business acumen with data enablement depth, and experience translating operational business requirements into governed data products.

The Data Enablement Team Leader partners closely with Data Engineering to shape what gets built and with Data Operations to make sure it runs well, owning the Design layer of the SCDS operating model. Familiarity with MDM tooling (Stibo/STEP), modern data governance practices, and platforms like Databricks is helpful, SQL or Python a plus. Data Enablement is one of three services in the SCDS operating model - Enablement designs it, Engineering builds it, Operations runs it.

• Lead the Data Enablement team, uniting MDM and process engineering into one team that sources andÂ
architects data solutions as the business needs itÂ
• Establish and steward a trusted single source of truth for master data across SCDSÂ
• Align data to how the business actually operates, keeping the data model true to business processÂ
• Own the intake process for new data products and changes, reducing ambiguity across teamsÂ
• Partner with Data Engineering to shape what gets built, through clear specs, definitions, and prioritizationÂ
• Partner with Data Operations to hand off products with the standards, documentation, and SLAs they needÂ
to run wellÂ
• Prevent downstream defects through governance-by-design, catching data quality and process risks earlyÂ
• Manage the Stibo (STEP) lifecycle in partnership with the team, ensuring data stays healthy through creation, change, and retirementÂ
• Serve as the point of escalation for governance, data quality, and process-alignment issuesÂ
• Translate complex information into plans that partners and executives can understand and act onÂ
• Communicate critical data and governance issues to stakeholders and leadershipÂ
• Identify opportunities to improve enablement, governance, and process across the SCDS ecosystemÂ
Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Management Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Analytics, or related fieldÂ
• 5+ years in data governance, master data management, business process engineering, or working in-depth with data lifecycle management in a operational business setting Â
• Experience setting data policies, procedures, and standardsÂ
• Experience partnering with engineering and operations teams to bring data products from concept to productionÂ
• Experience driving cross functional projects to completion with minimal supervisionÂ
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Â
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsÂ
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
• Hands-on experience enabling data and process for an operational business unit, supply chain preferredÂ
• Master's Degree in Information Management Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Analytics, or related fieldÂ
• 7+ years in data governance, master data management, or data enablementÂ
• Experience leading a team with little supervisionÂ
• Experience translating business processes into governed data productsÂ
• Experience with Agile ways of workingÂ
• Understanding of Supply Chain or Logistics ManagementÂ
• Comfortable using MDM platform, ex: Stibo (STEP)Â
• Programming skills in data modelling languages (SQL, Python, R, or similar)Â
