OUR TEAM

Maverick Studios is where creativity meets impact. As the in-house agency for Inspire Brands, we craft award-winning work that spans design, video, photography, print, digital, and beyond. Serving six iconic brands: Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Baskin-Robbins, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and Sonic, our team is a powerhouse of collaboration and passion. We’re all about delivering best-in-class creativity, innovation, and solutions that resonate across every project.

OUR CULTURE

At Inspire Brands, we’re not just dreamers; we’re doers. We thrive on innovation and welcome bold ideas at every level, from the kitchen to the boardroom. Here, taking risks and thinking differently aren’t just encouraged; they’re celebrated. It’s how we started, and it’s how we succeed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you spot the typo nobody else sees? Catch the broken link before launch? Notice when an offer, disclaimer, or product detail just doesn’t look right?

As our Proofreader, you’ll be a critical quality checkpoint before creative work reaches our clients and customers. Every email, website, mobile experience, landing page, banner, menu, POP display, sign, and marketing asset that passes through Maverick Studios has a story to tell, and you’ll help make sure that story is accurate, polished, and on-brand.

You’ll partner closely with Client Relations & Planning, Creative Services, Digital Production, CRM/Email Operations, Studio Operations, and Brand teams to catch issues before they become problems. From grammar and formatting to pricing, product details, accessibility, and functionality, you’ll help protect the quality and integrity of the work we deliver across all six Inspire Brands.

If you’re the kind of person who enjoys finding errors, loves bringing order to complexity, and gets satisfaction from knowing every detail is exactly right, we should talk.

* This position is required onsite 4 days per week, typically Monday- Thursday.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE

  • Creative Meets Precision: Join a team that values accuracy as much as creativity. Great ideas deserve flawless execution.

  • Protect What Millions See: Help shape customer-facing experiences delivered across six nationally recognized brands.

  • Cross-Brand Variety: From websites and apps to menus, signage, emails, and digital campaigns, no two days look exactly the same.

  • Grow With Us: Help shape the future of proofreading and quality practices as Maverick Studios continues to evolve.

  • People-First Culture: Join a supportive, collaborative team that values your input, encourages growth, and celebrates shared wins.

  • All the Extras: From team outings and creative brainstorms to free ice cream, a beer/wine wall, and all the caffeine you can handle, we know how to celebrate success and fuel creativity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grammar Guardian: Review customer-facing content for spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax, clarity, consistency, and style. Catch the mistakes others might miss and ensure every piece of content is polished and professional.

  • Offer & Detail Detective: Validate offers, pricing, product names, SKUs, imagery, timelines, disclaimers, legal language, links, calls-to-action, and other critical details against approved source materials. If something doesn’t add up, you’ll find it.

  • Quality Checkpoint: Serve as a critical review point throughout the project lifecycle. Confirm requested changes have been implemented accurately before stakeholder review, production, deployment, or launch.

  • Output Confirmer: Make sure final copy and content align with approved designs, data, briefs, and client-provided inputs across print and digital deliverables.

  • Digital Experience Reviewer: Evaluate websites, mobile applications, emails, landing pages, banners, and digital campaigns for content accuracy, visual consistency, functionality, accessibility, and production readiness. Great experiences don’t happen by accident, and neither does great QA.

  • Risk Spotter: Identify, document, and communicate issues before they affect customers, brand standards, compliance, timelines, or campaign delivery. Partner with teams to resolve concerns before they become costly mistakes.

  • Process Builder: Help improve proofreading checklists, documentation, workflows, style guides, and quality standards that make Maverick Studios smarter, more consistent, and more scalable.

  • Deadline Defender: Manage multiple reviews and shifting priorities without compromising accuracy or attention to detail.

  • Collaborative Quality Champion: Build trusted partnerships across Creative, Production, Operations, Client Relations, and Brand teams. Provide clear, constructive feedback that helps elevate the work and strengthen the customer experience.

  • Brand Fluency: Ability to work across multiple brands and quickly shift between brand voice, terminology, formatting, and campaign requirements.

  • Detail-Obsessed Mindset: You catch the small things others may miss, from misplaced punctuation and pricing discrepancies to incorrect SKUs, disclaimers, links, versioning, and timeline details.

  • Organizational Wizardry: Strong prioritization, workload management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple reviews and shifting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
