Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Access Systems Operator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a transportation location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with visitor and employee interactions. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a transportation facility by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to rail-related facilities, offices, yards, and/or restricted operational areas by verifying credentials, logging visitors, and directing authorized personnel.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations and incidents according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and/or delivery records and communicate access-related information to appropriate site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
