As a team with various analytical capabilities, Global Analytics services approximately 40 different clients. As a Senior Analyst, this role will have the opportunity to work with our largest clients at varying altitudes; managing the relationship, guiding the vision and roadmap for our clients to evolve the way they analyze and leverage data to deliver outcomes.

In fulfilling the responsibilities outlined below, the role will consult with our clients, and simultaneously with our internal cross departmental teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analysis and Delivery

    • Deliver best in class analysis and actionable insights for clients. Leverage an IABI (Insights, Actions, Business Impact) framework to conduct analysis and provide recommendations to our clients and channel teams. This includes applying advanced techniques to conduct an analysis and arrive at conclusions.

    • Problem solving. When challenged with an ambiguous scenario or ask you’ll identify clear next steps, ask the right questions, and guide the client or teams towards a viable solution.

    • Timely delivery of projects and analysis according to client roadmaps. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all deliverables are tracking on time according to the plan. This includes successfully managing multiple work streams at one and prioritizing appropriately.

    • Translating outputs from advanced analysis and data science projects into actionable next steps. Distill outputs and learnings from advanced and sometimes technical analytics projects into digestible stories for clients and channel teams. This may include but are not limited to presentations, action plans, POV’s, and quarterly measurement plans.

    • Working with numbers. You’ll be responsible for interpreting sometimes vague datasets, isolating trends, and extracting learnings. This includes building a story around the data points you observe and uncovering the “why” behind trends.

    Cross-functional working

    • Cross-functional and lateral collaboration. You’ll work with other teams and colleagues who have varying levels of familiarity with data and analysis; this requires the ability to zoom out and storytell with data to different audiences.

    • Data-backed storytelling. As the senior analyst you’ll digest large amounts of data, connect the dots between data points and context (whether it is technical, media, or business context), and clearly articulate your insights, recommendations, and associated business impact in various formats (decks, one-pagers, presentations, reports, etc.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years of experience working in marketing analytics preferably within agencies.

  • Keen ability to interrogate, analyze data, and derive actionable insights from complex datasets.

  • Strong problem solving skills.

  • Skilled at storytelling with data and communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Deep familiarity with marketing/media metrics and channel measurement.

  • Proficient in Excel. Familiarity with SQL and Python/R a plus.

  • Comfortable manipulating, modeling, and cleansing data to derive actionable insights and learnings.

  • Proficiency in working with all types of data including but not limited to web analytics (GA/GA4), media platforms (Meta, Google, etc.), and more.

  • Understanding of data tracking and collection within media platforms and web analytics.

  • Familiarity with Google Marketing Platform.

  • Experience working with digital advertising teams, adtech and analytics (both technically and conceptually).

  • Experience with brand measurement solutions such as brand lift studies, brand tracking, and working with partners such as Kantar, Nielsen, YouGov, etc. a plus.

  • Familiarity with testing methodologies such as incrementality, geo-split, A/B a plus.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year. (DOE)

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
