ABOUT THIS POSITION
Right now, we are looking for an outstanding, brilliant, and driven Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. While our Software Engineers are involved in multiple things throughout the Technology organization, primarily they are responsible for building highly scalable software frameworks, establishing high-quality coding and SDLC practices, and providing instruction to Technology team members on the proper usage of new technologies.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Designs/develops/tests/implements improvements or new features in our core code deployment tools and supporting applications, based on the functional and technical specificationsÂ
Responsible for adhering to coding standards and the approved technologiesÂ
Unit tests all changes on development, and then works with the appropriate Business and/or Technology Owner(s) to ensure that the developed solution meets the business requirementsÂ
Communicates development progress daily to the senior-level team membersÂ
Attends to any work items assigned through the internal case system in a timely fashionÂ
Takes ownership of work items assigned, communicates estimates and daily progress as part of the SDLC process, and actively works to resolve issues blocking progressÂ
Assists in the QA processÂ
Participates, as required, in Production deployment, providing instructions and support for deploying the code changes successfully, and for Smoke Testing code post-releaseÂ
Develops and maintains open and fluid communication with ManagementÂ
Develops and maintains a positive relationship with other team membersÂ

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
6+ years of .NET and SQL Server experience Â
Unit Testing experienceÂ
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsÂ
Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment & welcome changeÂ
Highly self-motivatedÂ
Ability to work both in team and solo environmentsÂ
Experience building highly scalable software solutionsÂ
Subject Matter Expertise in at least one technical trackÂ
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experienceÂ
