Role Summary:

Provide tax compliance, provisions, and research support for U.S. federal, state, and select international tax matters. Contribute to audits, estimated payments, and special projects, collaborating with the corporate tax team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage federal and state income tax returns and supporting working papers.

  • Calculate and remit estimated payments, extensions, and U.S. international forms.

  • Assist with statutory and U.S. GAAP provisions, including bridging statutory to GAAP.

  • Respond to federal/state notices, inquiries, and audits; gather documentation and draft responses.

  • Conduct tax research, prepare memos, and support special projects.

  • Mentor and guide team members; no formal supervisory responsibilities.

  • Maintain awareness of risk and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s preferred.

  • 2–3 years professional experience; Big 4 or regional firm preferred, industry experience acceptable.

  • CPA license or candidate preferred.

  • Advanced Excel skills; OneSource and ERP GL experience preferred.

  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
