Job DescriptionĀ 

We are currently seeking an exceptionalĀ Senior Technical Project ManagerĀ to oversee the delivery of multiple software implementations simultaneously for our customers. This role willĀ reportĀ to the Director of Project Management.Ā 

Ā 

TheĀ Senior Technical Project Manager has a dynamic leadership role in leading the on-boarding solutions for key strategic customers asĀ identifiedĀ by management. The role is both an external customer and/or 3rd party vendor-facing role in conjunction with an internal master facilitation role where multiple organizationsĀ participateĀ in the overall customer program/project. The role relies upon competency in sales, delivery, financial management, risk management, master plan management, communications, and delivery management and is achieved throughĀ the program/project manager’s oversight of the Project Management Organization (PMO).Ā

The Senior Technical Project Manager will lead the analysis and creativityĀ requiredĀ toĀ solveĀ Ā unique/complex technical and business problems on behalf of the customer for the program/project.Ā The ideal candidate usesĀ sound judgmentĀ to driveĀ major project success, balancing customerĀ objectives,Ā budgets,Ā contracts, timelines, and margins.Ā They will bring deep SDLCĀ expertiseĀ and enterprise implementation experience.Ā TheĀ willĀ have the ability toĀ ManageĀ internal information system projectsĀ end to end, includingĀ requirements, feasibility, resources, change control, testing, documentation, training, and on-time, on-budgetĀ delivery.Ā Projects may vary in number,Ā sizeĀ and complexity.Ā

  • Project InitiationĀ Ā 

  • Review Sales Order and Customer Success RecordĀ for accuracyĀ Ā 

  • Conduct Sales to Consulting hand-offĀ and client-facing kick off meetingsĀ 

  • Scope ManagementĀ 

  • Define project scope,Ā objectives, and deliverablesĀ 

  • Conduct in-depth project scope analysis and address gaps proactivelyĀ 

  • IdentifyĀ strategic opportunities that will add value to the implementation process and to the client's operational needs.Ā 

  • Project PlanningĀ 

  • Create andĀ maintainĀ granular project schedulesĀ 

  • Displays advanced understanding of level of effort of every task in the project scheduleĀ 

  • Tracks resource allocation based on available bandwidth and level of effortĀ 

  • Team LeadershipĀ 

  • Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams effectivelyĀ 

  • Demonstrates initiative and uses sound judgment in choosing actionsĀ 

  • Provides inputĀ regardingĀ key project staff-competency, fit, capability, and performanceĀ 

  • Mentor Level 1 Technical Project ManagersĀ

  • Manage scope changes and implement effective change management processesĀ 

  • Evaluates Change impact (what-if analysis) for projects and drives decision making based on mostĀ optimalĀ projectionsĀ 

  • Budget ManagementĀ 

  • Develop and manage project budgetsĀ 

  • Review and distribute Time and Materials ReportsĀ 

  • Communicate and able toĀ identifyĀ when budget may be exceeded and recommend solutions to stay in budgetĀ 

  • Resource ManagementĀ 

  • Provide direction and support to the Project TeamĀ 

  • Prioritize Project tasks and conduct planning sessions with the Project TeamĀ 

  • Communication ManagementĀ 

  • Run Executive Stakeholder meetings and QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) for programsĀ 

  • Facilitate and lead weekly status update meetings and capture meeting notes in real-timeĀ 

  • Provide status reports focusing on budget, scope, and timelineĀ 

  • Leverage our Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution as a portal to communicate Project information to our clientsĀ 

  • Risk and Issue ManagementĀ 

  • ProficiencyĀ inĀ identifying, analyzing, mitigating project risks, and solving issuesĀ 

  • Apply risk mitigation strategies, including risk avoidance, risk transfer, and contingency planning forĀ programsĀ 

  • Lead the analysis and diagnosis to solve unique/complex technical and project issuesĀ 

  • Quality ManagementĀ 

  • Provide the project team, client, and shareholders with metrics and feedback on the project's performanceĀ 

  • Strive for perfect execution and process improvement to prevent defects in deliverablesĀ 

  • Extensive experience in ensuring the quality of project deliverables through testing and review processesĀ 

  • Manage Test Case assignments, issue logs, and issue resolution in TestRailĀ 

  • Stakeholder ManagementĀ 

  • Manage Stakeholder and Customer expectationsĀ 

  • Communicate difficult and/or complexĀ content to executive level stakeholdersĀ

  • Aggregates project metrics in PMIS (Project Management Information System) Dashboard.Ā 

  • Manages, updates, and publishes program processes and templates.Ā 

  • Relationship ManagementĀ 

  • Foster client partnerships and drive customer satisfaction initiatives.Ā 

  • Handle customer requests for consultation on matters beyond the scope of the program/project.Ā 

  • Encourage customer referrals to other organizations for our company.Ā 

  • Travel up toĀ 10% (domestic and international) annuallyĀ

Basic QualificationsĀ 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.Ā 

  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.Ā 

  • 8+ years of technical project management experience, particularly in external,Ā customer facingĀ rolesĀ OR 6+ years of relevant experience with a completedĀ Master’sĀ degree.Ā 

  • Experience managing enterprise-scale SaaS implementations.Ā 

  • Demonstrated ability to delegate,Ā multitaskĀ and manage concurrent IT projects.Ā 

  • Expertly direct the work of a multi-disciplinary client team, which includes IT, Real Estate and Accounting experts.Ā Ā Ā Ā 

  • WorkĀ independentlyĀ successfully with limitedĀ to noĀ direct supervision while embodying all standards expected.Ā 

  • Demonstrated ability toĀ exercise good judgement and provide recommendations to clients and/or team members that are in alignment withĀ the company.Ā
