About the Role:

The Server/Bartender role is a dynamic position that combines customer service excellence with efficient beverage preparation and service. The primary goal is to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests by delivering prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service. This role requires multitasking between taking orders, preparing drinks, and ensuring guests’ needs are met throughout their visit. The Server/Bartender will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to the overall guest experience and the establishment’s reputation for quality service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States (typically 18 or 21 depending on state laws).
  • Previous experience in a server or bartender role within a hospitality environment.
  • Basic knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails and mixology techniques.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner to ensure a positive dining and drinking experience.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly to guests.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns.
  • Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
