Job Description:

Job Overview

The Site Director is responsible for enforcing and implementing company policies to ensure operational compliance with customer contract requirements. The Site Director oversees all necessary planning, supervision, budgeting, customer relations, and developing strategies for retention and future growth within the assigned client.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties may be assigned.

Operate as the lead point of contact related to all matters specific to the site.

Build and maintain a strong, long-lasting relationship between SBM and the client.

  • Plans and develops work schedules to ensure adequate service for contract requirements.

  • Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the establishment for overall compliance, i.e., safety, quality, and service.

  • Analyzes & facilitates budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made if necessary.

  • Maintain and report on the financial part of business, such as labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, billing, forecasting, and any changes to these areas.

  • Acts as liaison between the company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors.

  • Conduct and attend meetings to communicate top-down, and bottom-up on a consistent real-time basis, with customers, and employees.

  • Manage leadership succession planning through regular evaluation of site leadership competency to ensure continuous and scalable growth.

  • Proactively assess customer and industry trends to identify opportunities to innovate and introduce next-level solutions across the customer portfolio.

  • Assist with human resource concerns and issues.

  • Some travel is required for this position.

  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-8 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  May be required to have a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Customer service, problem-solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
