Responsibilities

This position performs the following functions of a Radiologic Technologist under the direct supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist.

 

Operates X‑Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.  This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies under the direct supervision of a physician.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

 

  • Enrolled in the Northside Hospital Radiologic Technology school or an accredited program
  • of Radiologic Technology. MUST BE A SECOND YEAR STUDENT IN RADIOLOGY SCHOOL

  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
  •  

    KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

     

  • Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
  • Work Hours:

    7am to 330pm Sat/Sun biweekly
