As a CONMED Warehouse Lead you will be responsible for the successful performance of order selecting process and shipping process amongst the Domestic shipping department.

Key Duties:

  • Responsible for the successful performance of order selecting and shipping process amongst the Domestic shipping department.
  • Provide direct support to supervisor as it relates to company objectives, training, and communication.
  • Assist in the successful shipping and receiving of items in a cross-functional environment using an RF Scanner and WMS.
  • As needed, coordinate amongst shipping platforms to ensure quality expectations are met.
  • Provide direct support to the supervisor as it relates to company objectives, training, performance feedback, and communication.
  • Lead and execute inventory control activities, including scheduled cycle counts, location audits, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Support physical inventory processes, including counting the entire warehouse inventory multiple times per year.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies to identify causes.
  • Review inventory-related reports using Power BI, Excel, and the Softeon Warehouse Management System (WMS) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process and approve inventory adjustments within the WMS while maintaining proper documentation and compliance with company procedures.
  • Utilize RF scanners and WMS transactions to accurately track and maintain inventory movement.
  • Examine inventory for damages, defects, and discrepancies, ensuring issues are documented, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Receiving, Outbound, Quality, Customer Service, and other operational departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Support internal and external auditors by providing inventory records, performing inventory validations, and assisting during audit activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a warehouse environment, with a minimum of 2 years of experience being in inventory control activities
  • Minimum of 1 year of lead experience (process owner, team lead, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience with the ability to safely transport materials and follow established safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably Softeon.
  • Experience working with RF scanners
  • Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to perform routine calculations.
