Job DetailsJob Location: Atlanta, GA - Atlanta, GA 30336Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayWarehouse Driver Department: Warehouse / Distribution Location: Meats By Linz Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary The Warehouse Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting meat products, materials, supplies, and other goods between Meats By Linz facilities, customers, vendors, and designated delivery locations. This position will also assist with daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading products, organizing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the warehouse team as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working in a refrigerated food distribution environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles to transport products, materials, and supplies. Load and unload meat products and other materials using proper handling procedures. Verify quantities, products, and delivery documentation before leaving the facility. Make scheduled deliveries and pickups while maintaining accurate delivery records. Ensure products are handled and transported in accordance with food safety and temperature-control requirements. Assist warehouse personnel with receiving, staging, storing, pulling, and organizing products. Move products throughout the warehouse using carts, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment. Assist with loading trucks and preparing orders for delivery. Inspect company vehicles before and after use and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, loading areas, and warehouse. Follow all company safety policies, GMPs, sanitation requirements, and food safety procedures. Follow proper PPE requirements while working in warehouse and production areas. Maintain accurate paperwork, delivery logs, and other required documentation. Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and employees. Report damaged products, shortages, delivery issues, or discrepancies to management. Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, delivery, distribution, or food industry experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Ability to safely operate a company vehicle. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products and materials as required. Ability to work in refrigerated and cold-storage environments. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality are required. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and kneel. Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds or more, with assistance when necessary. Ability to push and pull carts, pallets, and warehouse equipment. Ability to work in refrigerated, cold, and wet environments. Ability to safely perform repetitive lifting and material-handling activities. Food Safety & Compliance: Employees are expected to follow all Meats By Linz food safety, GMP, sanitation, quality, OSHA, USDA, PPE, and workplace safety requirements. Proper product handling and temperature control must be maintained at all times to protect product quality and food safety.
