Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Warranty Administrator  to processes product or vehicle warranty cancellations, calculates refund amounts, and reconciles accounting ledgers. They primarily handle paperwork, communicate with customers or lenders, and update internal database records.  handle paperwork, communicate with customers or lenders, and update internal database records. 

Core Responsibilities
    • Processing Cancellations: Handling requests to terminate extended warranties, GAP insurance, and aftermarket vehicle protection plans.
    • Calculating Refunds: Figuring out prorated refund amounts and issuing checks to customers or lienholders/lenders.
    • Accounting Tasks: Posting general ledger entries, reconciling schedules, and managing accounts receivable items.
    • Communication: Answering inquiries from customers, vendors, and finance managers regarding policy statuses. 

Qualifications and Skills
    • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; bookkeeping or basic accounting background is often preferred.
    • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and dealership management systems like CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, or specialized accounting portals.
    • Key Traits: High attention to detail, strong organization, and customer service skills
