Position SummaryÂ
HB Wealth is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide financial planning, perform client analyses, and make recommendations that impact client relationships, consulting with Senior Associates and Associates on complex matters as needed.Â
How the Wealth Advisor contributes to the success of HB:
General Support:
- Leverages the time and expertise of Sr. Associates and Associates by assisting them in the execution of steps in the client service process.
- Maintains internal systems with up-to-date client data, areas of priority and activities.
- Trains, coaches, and/or mentors Associates and Senior Associates.Â
- Contributes to the Team’s initiatives of increased efficiency, quality, and control through system training, enhancement, and process improvement.Â
- Grows existing client relationships by adding more assets under management, identifying opportunities for additional services, and seeking referrals as possible.Â
Advisory:Â
- Coordinates relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients by working with and supervising the work of Associates and Senior Associates. Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Prepares and updates financial plans, working with clients to obtain the necessary information and ensuring that it is accurately entered into the firm’s financial planning systems.Â
- Works with Sr. Associates and Associates to discuss, develop and implement financial planning techniques and recommendations.
- Leads or participates in client meetings and adds value to meetings by delivering presentations, facilitating discussions, and preparing information.Â
- Creates custom worksheets and analyses where needed to answer client questions or research planning topics.
- Serves as client’s “financial quarterback” by advising on topics such as investments, retirement, cash flow, taxes, debt, charitable endeavors, education planning, insurance, and estate planning.
- Works proactively with clients’ external service team, including accountants and attorneys, to meet client goals.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of financial planning.

- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment under tight deadlines with competing priorities and demonstrate grace under pressure.Â

- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
- Self-starter with high initiative and comfort working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively in a team and build trust and confidence of colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and a willingness to "pitch in" when necessary.
- Analytical capabilities to both retrieve data and understand the implications of that data.Â
- Strong desire to learn and advance in the financial industry.
- Ability to successfully pass criminal background / credit check required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required)
- CFP or CFA requiredÂ
- CPA preferred, additionallyÂ
- 7-10 years of relevant industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading client relationships
- Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with financial planning, CRM, and Portfolio reporting software
