ABOUT THIS POSITION
Waystar is seeking a Director of Product Management to join the team. Reporting to the Vice President, Product Strategy, The Director of Product Management will lead the Aware CDI team of product managers and ensuring that the company's software products meet the needs of customers and achieve business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, a strong track record in product management, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead the product management team in developing and executing the product roadmapÂ
Work with engineering, data science, UX design, and product marketing teams to bring new products to marketÂ
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and opportunitiesÂ
Define product requirements and specificationsÂ
Manage the product development process from ideation to launchÂ
Track product performance and make data-driven decisionsÂ
Mentor a team of Product Managers and furnish them with resources, tools, and uniform processes to be successfulÂ
Work with sales and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfactionÂ
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in healthcare technologyÂ
Collaborate with other directors and executives to align product strategy with the company's overall goalsÂ
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related fieldÂ
10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on healthcare technologyÂ
Strong understanding of the healthcare industryÂ
Proven track record of success in leading and motivating a teamÂ
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamÂ
Passion for healthcare and technologyÂ
High emotional intelligence and relationship skills, and an ability to read and adapt to changing environmentsÂ
