The Senior Manager of Intercompany Accounting is responsible for the full end to end cycle of intercompany accounting and eliminations to support the monthly and quarterly close process resulting in accurate financial statements. The Senior Manager coordinates with regional accounting teams to ensure accurate transaction processing of intercompany transactions, leads the research and resolution of intercompany variances, ensures statutory needs are met in all global jurisdictions in the invoicing and payment of intercompany activity, and partners with the tax and treasury organizations to support cash repatriation efforts.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Responsible for the global end-to-end intercompany process

• Coordinate with global teams to ensure accurate processing, invoicing, and settlements of intercompany transactions

• Lead research and identify resolution of intercompany imbalances in both P&L and balance sheet transactions between entities

• Ensure all intercompany balance sheets are properly reconciled and reviewed

• Serve as corporate controllership partner to tax/legal/treasury teams on intercompany or entity restructure projects that provide cash repatriation benefits to NCR Voyix while minimizing tax costs, while providing direction on GAAP treatment and recording of required accounting entries

• Work with global controllers to validate that intercompany invoices and settlement processes meet local statutory requirements to avoid unintended tax treatments

• Support internal and external audit requests for intercompany transactions

• Identify, plan, and execute process improvements in the global intercompany proces

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting

• Active CPA license

• 7+ years of related corporate accounting experience in a large multinational company, including working with intercompany transactions between multiple countries such as inventory sales, transfer pricing, etc

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting and reporting

• Microsoft Excel advanced user

• Strong analytical skills, ability to research issues in a complex accounting structure to resolve problems; detail-oriented, yet able to identify issues and grasp concepts at broader level

• Must be a highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-task while working with a variety of individuals in both team and self-directed environments

• Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of management

• Ability to work within defined time constraints and within deadlines during month end financial close while driving longer-term projects to successful completion

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud and Smartview tools

• Experience with international Consolidation accounting

• Working knowledge of IFRS and statutory requirements of intercompany invoices for arms length transactions
