How you’ll make an impact:

This is a high-impact, growth-focused commercial role. As Commercial Development Manager, you will be accountable for driving measurable booking growth and revenue across our hotel, car, and rail.

You will work across the commercial ecosystem — partners, agencies, and internal stakeholders— to unlock new opportunities, maximise performance, and create sustainable revenue growth. This role suits someone who thrives on ownership, takes initiative, and turns ideas into results.

Your role in action:

  • Drive booking growth and revenue performance by selling and embedding the value proposition of Travelport’s hotel, car, and rail content.
  • Working across the entire commercial organization to enhance and acquire content, develop existing and new rate programmes, and identifying further opportunities for growth, including through third parties. 
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams, including commercial agency team working together to identify opportunities for growth 
  • Establishing relationships with agency customers in accordance with defined growth strategy to deliver increased bookings
  • Understanding customer’s business and technology and being able to utilize customer perspective to frame the opportunity for greater usage overall
  • Develop, communicate, and track sales development plans, pipeline, and key performance metrics.
  • Challenging the norm, and championing change to allow us to be more successful. Effectively sharing best practice across both commercial teams (partners & agency)
  • Commitment to cultivating strategic cross-functional relationships across Travel Partners, Commercial and Travelport more broadly.
