We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager of Software Development to lead our development team for our vi by Aderant product. In this role, you will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business objectives and drive continuous improvement in our development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the software development team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and other departments to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and implement development processes and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
• Monitor and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the development team.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Software Development Manager or in a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., .NET, Typescript, GoLang) and development frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
