Inventory Assistant

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: 

The Inventory Assistant is to help manage the inventory, including processing inventory orders, logging items that have been received and items that have been taken from inventory, and physically moving product within the inventory room to the sales floor, and vice versa.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining and updating records
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
• Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures
• Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment or merchandise
• Compiling balance, price and cost reports
• Any other duties as assigned by the management

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent math and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Drug Screening will be REQUIRED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years of inventory management experience

• Occasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of time
